We are up and out early this morning. Terry gets it into his head we should walk over the Queensboro Bridge - (I have just discovered this is how you spell Queensboro). The Queensboro Bridge is just 2 blocks from our apartment and connects Upper Manhattan to Queens. We walk across the bridge and turn around and walk back. It starts raining on the return walk. We do some grocery shopping and head home.
This afternoon we spend the time figuring out how to post photos on this blog. Terry also orders some books online to read on his ipad. We are so techy today...
We leave the apartment at 5.30 pm to head downtown on the subway to meet Hannah at an Indian restaurant at 1st and 6th. "Banjara" is the restaurant and we have eaten there before. We have a lovely meal. We think the waiters have a thing for Hannah as we get extra Naan bread specially made for us. Hannah is given a "Shirley Temple" - on the house. They continue to wave and smile at her and bring ice cream, again on the house. We enjoy our time together.
We walk Hannah home and then head home ourselves. We are disappointed to discover the US Open final has been cancelled until tomorrow. We understand as it has rained all day today. Good luck to Rafa tomorrow.
