RADIO CITY and JACK BAUER

Wednesday, I have an agenda - I take myself off to the subway and head out to 7th and Broadway.  Pick up some souvenirs on my way to RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL.  I decided that we really should go see the Christmas Spectacular and the Rockettes.  We have been to New York so often and never been to Radio City.  Time to change that.  I get tickets for November 18th.  Our days are numbered now so planning is everything.

                                      RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL

We already have tickets for the 17th November to see Spider-man.  It is the preview of Spider-man, although I did here that the opening might be moved back again due to safety concerns.  Someone broke his wrists yesterday.  Apparently there are a lot of aerial moves in this show. It should be spectacular.

                               BILLBOARD FOR SPIDER-MAN

Made my way around the corner to the MOMA.  I love the MOMA store.  They have so many interesting things to look at.  Picked up a couple of things there.    BUT - on my way to the MOMA who should walk right by me  - JACK  BAUER       ok  -  I know he is Kiefer Sutherland.  I do wish I had the courage to stop him and ask to take a photo.  Terry and Jonathan loved 24 - me, not so much.  I am thrilled that he is a Canadian and, in fact, the grandson of Tommy Douglas, the father of Health Care in Canada.  I just recently learned that Tommy Douglas was a Scottish Baptist Minister before coming to Canada and becoming a politician

I walk home, pick up a roast chicken for supper.  I have a lovely chat on the phone with Peggy back in Vancouver.  Terry has another conference call and I get to Skype with Roision.  Hannah gets 100% on her Macro Economics  midterm. Congrats to her.

Talk to you later.

  1. As always, I thoroughly enjoy your blog. Your photos are fantastic!
Well, Canucks beat my Wings last night. It was a really fun game, though. I didn't mind losing so much, because I had such a fun group of friends here. I sent them home happy:-) I told everyone the story of my jersey and missed having you here.
    Love,
    Pat
